Registered Nurse I Residency Program – Inpatient Rehab Location: Saint Luke's South, Overland Park, KS

Job Description Join our nursing crew at Saint Luke's South. This role involves providing nursing care in a progressive care unit and in clinic settings, utilizing the nursing process, performing patient care, delegating tasks, supervising staff, coordinating care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide patient care in an in‑hospital progressive care unit and clinic setting.

Delegate and supervise patient care tasks for other staff.

Coordinate care plans for assigned patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Perform telephone triage, manage patient flow, and organize appointments in clinic.

Insert intravenous access, administer medication, and document procedures.

Identify learning needs, provide patient education, and record patient assessments.

Manage expired samples and maintain accurate electronic health records.

Perform additional duties as assigned (e.g., cover medical assistant or LPN tasks).

Qualifications

RN license (KS) required.

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher (Diploma, BSN).

Less than 1 year of experience acceptable for residency program.

Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.

Shift & Compensation

Full‑time, 12‑hour night shift.

Rotate weekends/holidays.

Benefits begin the first month after start date.

Sign‑on bonus may be available (up to $5,000 for night shift or $7,500 for all shifts depending on the posting).
