Responsibilities
The Interventional Radiology Tech, under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures and provides technical support for interventional radiographic examinations. Tasks include assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, preparing examination rooms, maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications, and performing radiographic exams on all patients. The technician produces high‑quality diagnostic radiographs and rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology, including OR, urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma, assisting practitioners with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures, and trauma.

Formal two‑year radiologic technology training in an AMA‑approved school meeting ARRT registry requirements.
Minimum Experience
Must have 2 years of Acute Care experience.
Required Certification / Licensure
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (R); (VI) or (CI); or
Certified Radiology Tech (CR)
CPR‑Basic Life Support – American Heart Association
Other credentialing items, such as a skills checklist and health‑related documents, will be specified by the recruiter.
Preferred Certifications
CVRT or PICC Line Certification
ACLS
