Job Summary
The Hospital Admissions – Registration Associate performs all admissions activities for pre‑admit and face‑to‑face registration of patients presenting to the Main Admissions and/or outpatient areas. The job secures demographic and financial registration information, including registration, pre‑registration, insurance verification, third‑party liability screening, Medi‑Cal/Medicare eligibility verification, workers compensation eligibility, and cash deposits. The Associate explains information and answers questions, demonstrating competency in customer service with sensitivity and attention to the patient population(s) served.
Shift Details
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, including every other weekend.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (preferred).
Associate degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field (preferred).
One year of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
Two years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience (preferred).
Compensation
$21.00 – $29.11 per hour.
