About MMI Psychology The Department of Psychology at the MMI is a collegial group of clinical educators and researchers dedicated to integrating training and research within clinical service delivery in a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary setting. Department faculty play a vital role in education and training, providing clinical supervision through a large, well‑funded internship program within the APA‑accredited Nebraska Internship Consortium, as well as a growing postdoctoral fellowship program. While the department is grounded in a behavioral orientation, it welcomes applicants with diverse but complementary theoretical perspectives. Several faculty also teach in the Applied Behavior Analysis master’s degree program, which prepares graduates for licensure as mental health practitioners and certification as Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
