About the Role DACUT is seeking an experienced
Cannabis Cultivation Manager
to lead day‑to‑day cultivation operations at our Vassar, Michigan facility. This role is responsible for overseeing plant health, production schedules, team performance, and compliance while driving yield, quality, and consistency.
The ideal candidate is hands‑on, data‑driven, and comfortable managing people, processes, and plants in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Oversee all cultivation phases including
propagation, veg, flower, harvest, and reset
Manage and coach cultivation staff, leads, and technicians to ensure productivity and accountability
Develop and execute
crop schedules
to meet production targets
Monitor plant health and make data‑backed decisions related to nutrients, IPM, and environmental controls
Ensure strict adherence to
SOPs, biosecurity, and state compliance (METRC)
Track and analyze cultivation data to improve
yield, quality, and efficiency
Coordinate with processing and inventory teams to support harvest flow and product integrity
Identify operational gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant cultivation environment
️ Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of hands‑on
commercial cannabis cultivation experience
Previous experience in a
lead, supervisor, or manager
role
Strong understanding of
plant biology, nutrient programs, IPM, and environmental controls
Experience managing teams in a production‑driven environment
Ability to analyze data and adjust cultivation strategies accordingly
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Comfortable working flexible hours based on cultivation needs
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing
large‑scale indoor or greenhouse operations
Proven success improving yields and reducing crop loss
Familiarity with METRC and Michigan cannabis regulations
Background in agriculture, horticulture, or plant science
