Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry night shift position in Iowa with Epic EMR experience and every other weekend required.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital Med Surg/Telemetry unit
Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts per week
Required to work every other weekend
No on-call responsibilities
Floating may be required within the same discipline across local campuses
Electronic medical records managed with Epic; experience preferred
Participate as an integral member of an interdisciplinary care team
Orientation includes 16 hours of training
Holiday coverage required for 2 out of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)
Limited to one day of time off requested between 11/26–11/30 and 12/23–1/2
Prior employees of the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible
Requirements
Active IA or compact RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience
At least 1 completed travel contract required
Certifications required: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
All licenses and certifications must be active at the time of consideration
