Position Objective : The Material Control Specialist I ensures proper handling, storage, and transport of raw materials inventory and in-process product. The Material Control Specialist I maintains transactional inventory accuracy and performs stock rotations in accordance with standard operating procedures. Responsible for daily tasks within warehouse areas. Responsibilities : Data entry of all SAP and Max transactions in the receiving and movement of raw material Pull all needed raw and in-process materials required by the company in a timely manner Assure compliance to all standard operating procedures Keep work areas in an organized and orderly fashion, storing materials to preserve their integrity Maintain the accuracy of the inventory through periodic physical counting Assist as needed with material returns in accordance to company Quality, Purchasing, Financial and Manufacturing standards Ensure expired materials are removed from inventory Timely transfer of needed materials for production and documents to storage Operation of material handling equipment Driving of company vehicles Other responsibilities as assigned.
