Job Overview Malas Development is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale multifamily and mixed‑use projects from pre‑construction through closeout. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Teaneck, NJ, ideal for a self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is ready to take full ownership of the construction process. The Project Manager will work directly with ownership and be a key driver of project success, from scheduling and subcontractor management to buyouts and budget tracking.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage project schedules using Microsoft Project.
Oversee all subcontractor and vendor relationships from RFP through project closeout.
Track and manage budgets, cost codes, and change orders in Excel and Procore.
Conduct weekly coordination meetings to maintain accountability and momentum.
Review and process submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs.
Ensure compliance with construction documents, specifications, codes, and safety standards.
Drive project closeout, including punchlists, warranty documents, and O&M manuals.
Mentor field staff and promote a strong culture of teamwork, ownership, and safety.
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience in multifamily or commercial construction (8+ preferred).
Proven experience completing at least one large‑scale wood‑framed multifamily project.
Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, Excel, and interpreting construction documents.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Self‑motivated, accountable, and solutions‑oriented.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred (not required).
