Position Overview SHRA Temporary Worker/Landscape – Department: Landscaping, University of North Carolina Wilmington. This temporary role supports campus grounds maintenance and landscaping services.

Responsibilities

Plant flowers and plants.

Trim grass, edge walks and driveways.

Perform general grounds maintenance: trash pick‑up, new landscaping, irrigation installation, pruning, mowing, and manicuring of all campus properties and lots.

Assist with removal of snow, ice or debris as required and may work during adverse weather.

Qualifications and Experience

Some grounds maintenance experience.

Valid NC Driver’s License.

High school graduate with planning, mowing or landscape/labor experience (preferred).

Work Hours

Workdays: Monday–Friday.

Hours per week: 40.

Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Hiring Information

Temporary position (maximum 11 consecutive months without a full 31‑day break). Temporary assignments may be extended.

Salary: $15.00 per hour.

Number of openings: multi‑positions.

Job voucher: TSP5516PST.
