Department Overview The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university's missions and goals of clinical service, teaching, outreach and public service. The physician/surgeon is expected to actively participate in patient care and engagement for growth and outreach to further the development of their community practice, and the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation.

This position will be located at Hillsboro Medical Center. This position will actively participate in all aspects of the clinical care of patients as outlined by the Chair of the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation.

This position reports to (supervisor): The Interim Department Chair, Dr. Darin Friess

Function/Duties of Position As a member of the Department of Orthopaedics responsibilities and duties are outlined as follows:

Clinical:

The Clinical Director for this location, working with the Department, will assign the clinical schedule. This position will work primarily as a general Orthopaedic provider providing care also for patients with orthopedic trauma surgical care needs. This position will be expected to take call, as assigned, with other providers on nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required Qualifications M.D. or equivalent degree/training; completion of an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency; completion of a hand and upper extremity fellowship and/or sports medicine fellowship preferred.
