Description
Responsibilities: Greet families warmly and help with check-in/check-out procedures. Provide attentive, nurturing care to infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and playtime. Lead or assist with simple age-appropriate activities (songs, Bible stories, play). Maintain a safe and clean nursery environment. Follow all church safety and security procedures (including child protection guidelines). Communicate with parents about their child’s experience as needed. Support fellow volunteers and work as a team. Time Commitment: Weeknight Nursery: During Bible study, small group, or special events (varies, typically 1–2 hours). Qualifications: A love for children and patience in caring for infants and toddlers. Dependable and punctual. Willing to follow church policies for child safety. Background check required. Reports to: Children’s Ministry Director Opportunity to serve families and support the church body. Joy of nurturing children in a loving, Christ-centered environment. Build relationships with other volunteers and families.
