Pay Range: $34.90 - $52.35
This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible.
Where You Will Work The Pediatric Satellite Team provides supplemental staffing across Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC and occasionally Atrium Health Cabarrus Levine Children’s Jeff Gordon Children’s Center in Concord, NC. RNs primarily support the general pediatric medical surgical units, but have the ability to cross‑train in specialty areas within Levine Children’s Hospital including Children’s ED, CVICU, PICU, Neonatal, and Progressive, and obtain Chemo certification.
We’re Looking For
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
PALS certification required within 6 months of hire
One year of pediatric in‑patient RN experience preferred
What You’ll Do
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
About This Location Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital (LCH) serves high‑acuity pediatric patients and offers a full complement of over 125 pediatric subspecialists across more than 30 specialties. It includes 4 pediatric hospitalist teams, a 24‑bed PICU, a 20‑bed cardiac ICU, an 85‑bed Level IV NICU, and an inpatient pediatric rehabilitation floor. LCH is Charlotte’s only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and has been named a Best Children’s Hospital by U.S. News & World Report for 18 consecutive years.
