About the Role
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or a Board-Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our growing Child and Adolescent prescribing team. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative, supportive, and mission-driven outpatient environment dedicated to improving mental health outcomes for children, teens, and their families. Key Responsibilities
Maintain an active clinical schedule as outlined in your contract. Provide thorough psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy (not to be the primary therapist). See patients promptly and allocate sufficient time for comprehensive care. Code appointments accurately for complexity and time. Complete documentation promptly (begin notes within 24 hours, finalize within 1 week). Review and respond to patient portal messages daily. Communicate effectively with staff and collaborate with therapists and other clinicians. Ensure clinical coverage during any time off and log time off in BambooHR. Participate in case discussions, provide peer support, and engage in ongoing learning. Qualifications
Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program — or MD/DO with board certification in Psychiatry. Board Certification: PMHNP-BC (for NPs) and/or Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (for MD/DO). Active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of Maryland. Minimum 3 years of experience (for Nurse Practitioners). Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and empathy. Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range $170,000 – $270,000 (commensurate with experience and credentials). Additional bonus opportunities are available each quarter.
