Ortho Opportunities Our Surgical Inpatient units are fast‑paced units that include high‑acuity patients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Our Surgical Inpatient leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building each team member.
Patient Population Ortho patients from PACU, ICU, ED, and direct admits; Total Joint Replacement, Ortho‑Oncology, Ortho‑Trauma, Advanced Joint Revisions, Limb Salvage/re‑attachment, and Spinal procedures.

Number of Beds 40
Unit Selling Points Ranked 47th in the nation for the Total Joint Replacement according to U.S. News & World Report. Advanced certification unit. Some patients come from all over the country for the Ortho physicians they have. Teamwork environment. Able to learn multiple diagnosis. Great Ortho team of physicians that love to teach. Advanced Total Hip & Total Knee Replacement Certification through TJC. Dedicated Nurse Practitioners, Orthopedic Residents, and Therapy Team. Flexible self‑scheduling process to support life‑work balance and staff scheduling committee for autonomy and collaboration. Mobility Training with Physical Therapy tailored to Orthopedic patients.

At least 2 years of inpatient hospital RN experience.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
License/Certification: RN – Registered Nurse.
