Position Overview Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a candidate to join the Assembly, Integration, and Test team as a Satellite Integration & Test Engineer in Littleton, CO. In this role you will participate in the planning and execution of mechanical floor operations for programs using the LM400 bus platforms. This role will primarily be assigned to developmental tasking associated with early program planning through CDR and/or CDR support through launch operations based on skill sets.
Key Responsibilities
Understand and use the principles and disciplines of spacecraft test engineering
Work with Systems Engineering and Certified Principal Engineers (CPEs) to understand test requirements
Author and maintain detailed story boards, flows, and requirements mapping
Perform as a test engineer and manufacturing engineer responsible for the execution of MWI and procedures during all satellite test phases
Document test anomalies found during test execution and support troubleshooting to resolve issues
Determine Assembly Integration and Test impact and support/establish trade study for production flows efficiency
Basic Qualifications
Experience with manufacturing work instructions and automation framework test procedures
Ability and willingness to work off-shifts and weekends as needed in a 24/7 operations environment
Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance w/ Polygraph
Desired Skills
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education
Aerospace or defense systems hardware/software integration experience
Test Engineer (TE) and/or Certified Test Conductor (CTC) experience in space vehicle integration and test
Experience with Manufacturing Work Instruction, generation, maintenance and execution
Experience as a Test Conductor on Space Vehicle Integration and Test Programs, including: Component and System Level Functional and Environmental test
Experience with mechanical and electrical test equipment such as bench top power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, signal generators
Experience planning and executing mechanical operations associated with final integration and test of complex spacecraft
Experience in Space Vehicle Test Operations including the test development process, test execution, data analysis, and anomaly resolution
Excellent technical writing, planning and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to achieve consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
Applies advanced technical principles, techniques, theories and concepts. Contributes to the development of new principles and theories
Experience leading teams through successful test efforts, schedule management and resource planning
Lead CTC/TE and ME experience during build of final spacecraft integration
Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position … (rest omitted for brevity) – For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full‑time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
