We are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager experienced in the industrial and heavy commercial sectors, capable of managing complex mechanical installations with precision and accountability. This position demands technical fluency in process and utility piping, HVAC, and mechanical systems for industrial facilities. Candidates must demonstrate a working knowledge of fabrication, welding procedures, equipment setting, and start-up integration within operational industrial environments.
Qualified applicants will have:
US Citizenship or a Green Card (Permanent Residency)
5 years of progressive responsibility in industrial mechanical HVAC or piping project management, with clear experience in plant work, retrofits, and new construction.
Commercial, institutional, infrastructure, or industrial project experience is Required.
Strong abilities to interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and equipment specifications, and capable of managing multiple active job sites.
Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, or similar platforms is expected.
A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred, but experience is key.
Responsibilities Include directing mechanical project execution from estimating through turnover; coordinating field crews, subcontractors, and fabrication activities; managing cost control, scheduling, and documentation; and ensuring compliance with OSHA, ASME, and local codes. The role involves daily interaction with plant personnel, field supervision, and engineering teams to maintain production schedules and quality standards.
