Job Description Automotive Photographer
Part Time — 3x per week MWF (until work is completed)
Route:
Santa Cruz and surrounding areas
Pay:
$24.00+ per hour
(Hourly pay is a combination of base pay and per-vehicle photo payout)
Heavier workloads, there may also be opportunities to assist in
Salinas, Monterey, or San Jose , depending on where you live.
Pro-MotionPix is seeking a part-time
Automotive Dealership Photographer
to capture photos, spins, and videos of dealership vehicles using a company-issued iPhone.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, being outdoors, and has an eye for detail. You’ll stage vehicles, photograph them, and work with dealership staff to ensure everything is ready to shoot. No prior photography experience needed—we provide paid training!
What We’re Looking For
Have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
Are comfortable with manual transmission vehicles (preferred, not required)
Can work outdoors and handle physical tasks
Communicate well and solve problems independently
Stay motivated working on their own
Are open to learning dealership and automotive photography
Job Responsibilities
Use your own vehicle to follow your assigned schedule and visit dealerships
Capture photos, spins, and videos using a company-provided iPhone and app
Locate vehicle keys and move vehicles to the staging area
Communicate with dealership staff about vehicles that aren’t ready or can’t be found
Requirements
Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
Manual transmission experience is a plus
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
Customer‑service oriented and proactive
Able to work independently and in outdoor conditions
Comfortable with technology and learning new tools
Pre‑employment drug screen and background check
Paid training
Company‑provided equipment
Mileage reimbursement between stops
Uniform shirt
Hourly rate plus per‑vehicle photo payout
