If you are offered a position that requires a background check you will be provided additional documentation to complete once an offer has been extended*.****Job Details:*****Please be sure to submit a resume in a Word or .pdf format.*****Join Our Team in the Prepared Foods Division as a Automation Technician 7.****We invest in our team members and their success by providing resources like BENEFITS ON DAY ONE OF EMPLOYMENT and FREE EDUCATION!****SHIFT:** A Shift**HOURS:** Monday – Friday and every other weekend required to support Operations.**PAY RATE: $43.05/hour and is paid weekly.****Job Responsibilities:*** Performs high-level machine and systems troubleshooting and repair* Assists engineering and plant team members with the specification, installation, and modification of integrated systems* Provides technical support for all phases of the operation* All team members are responsible for safety, including but not limited to, personal safety and food safety* Complies with all company and USDA policies/guidelines and reports known or suspected violations* Attends monthly and annual required training (e.g., Safety, HACCP, HR topics, LOTO, PIT)* Performs other duties, as assigned**Job Requirements:*** High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Training beyond High School including either an Associate’s Degree (AS) in Electronics Technology (or closely related technical field), or a combination of education and experience that can include skilled trades programs or military training.
Certifications in any technical field or techniques is a plus* At least four (4) years of automation experience and/or industrial maintenance experience* Requires proficiency in multiple skill clusters including electricity and electronics, fluid power, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes* Basic computer skills to navigate systems and perform data entry* Must have strong skills in document organization, the use of technical materials, and research techniques
+ Ability to read, understand, and interpret product specifications
+ Must either be proficient or become proficient in SAP Maintenance* Ability to perform accurate calculations by performing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division* Accountable to self and to others* Ability to work professionally and respectfully with others while demonstrating positive interpersonal skills, and communicates effectively with all team members and management* Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness* Ability to identify, act with a sense of urgency, and resolve problems/inconsistencies, getting help from management or others, as needed* Ability to report to work as scheduled and work scheduled hours to meet job expectations, have flexibility to work other jobs, as needed, and work weekends and overtime, as needed* Ability to work in an environment where extreme temperatures range seasonally from hot/warm (i.e., 80-90°F) to cold (i.e., 20-40°F), where conditions may be damp and/or wet, and concrete floors may be slippery in some areas* Ability to climb up and down stairs/ladders to get to/from work areas, and work at elevated levels of various heights and in confined spaces, if needed* Requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching above, across, and below, and at shoulder level* Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. below waist, at waist level, and above shoulder level* Ability to perform repetitive motions, flex/grip with wrists/hands, and use tools (e.g., box knife, metal scraper)* Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net / beard guard, steel-toed boots, and gloves***Position Specific Requirements:**** Applicants should either upload a resume to their application on Workday OR make sure their Career Profile in Workday is up to date and complete.* Must reside in the United States to be considered.* Sponsorship is not available for this position.**RELOCATION ASSISTANCE IS NOT OFFERED.
