Rotating Equipment Specialist – Turnaround Quality & Reporting (100%)

Based in Houston, this new role supports the full lifecycle of major Turnaround projects — from early technical planning and preparation to on-site execution and post-job review.
As the technical point of contact during field execution, you ensure accurate reporting, quality compliance and clear documentation. Post-project, you contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement.
Field oriented, extensive travel to job sites, partial remote flexibility during planning and reporting phases.
What you will do
Support the full lifecycle of Turnaround projects — from planning to post-job analysis
Prepare technical documentation, work packs, and tooling plans specific to Turnarounds
Participate early in planning and scope reviews to ensure technical readiness
Brief field crews on technical procedures, safety, and job expectations before execution
Oversee tooling use and support field teams during critical Turnaround phases
Ensure accurate reporting, data capture, and photo documentation during the job
Finalize report packages and lead lessons learned and post-Turnaround improvement sessions
Collaborate closely with Field Service, Tooling, Engineering teams, and the customer
What makes you the ideal fit
5+ years of experience in rotating equipment
Experience working with OEMs or independent service providers in the Oil & Gas or Energy industry
Strong working knowledge of steam turbines and centrifugal compressors
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering is a plus but not required; relevant experience with rotating equipment in field service is essential
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project)
Self-driven and service-oriented
Strong team collaboration and organizational abilities
Excellent communication skills – written and spoken
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
