**Opportunity awaits!** Join our dynamic Engagement Team at the District 2 **Portland-Southeast Self Sufficiency Office** and make a meaningful impact as a **Family Coach (Bilingual: Russian Required)*** Conduct interviews to determine family needs and eligibility, and complete program applications for program benefits and, if eligible, issues appropriate support.* Engage clients in family evaluation of strengths and jointly develop a case plan and identify the steps the family will take towards self-sufficiency and meeting their basic needs.* Monitor progress, needs, and makes necessary modifications to the case plan.* Initiate and participate in case staffing, employment readiness, life skills training, and supports job search as needed.* Assist with crisis and safety planning for individuals experiencing domestic violence.* Explore alternate resources and link clients to community services and may also assist with supporting resources and services within the community.* **Bilingual Russian is Required*** Three years of human services related experience (i.e., work providing assistance to individuals and groups with issues such as economically disadvantaged, employment, abuse and neglect, substance abuse, aging, disabilities, prevention, health, cultural competencies, inadequate housing).* Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. These situations may be stressful and understanding self-care and available resources are important.* Employee's work is conducted in offices, participant's homes, and other community sites.* Hours of work may vary from day to day and may include evenings and weekends.* ***Your work schedule will be 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. PST, Monday – Friday.
