We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Structural Steel Welder to join our fabrication team. This role involves welding steel components for building structures and miscellaneous items based on specified drawings and weld symbols. The successful candidate must have experience with vertical and overhead welding, ensuring high-quality welds while following all safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Weld structural steel parts as per drawings and marked‑up weld symbols.

Maintain and obtain required welding certifications, ensuring compliance with AWS standards.

Achieve and maintain welder qualifications per AWS standards.

Conduct visual inspections of welded components to confirm quality and accuracy.

Safely operate overhead cranes, air arc tools, grinders, magnetic drills, and other welding‑related equipment.

Communicate with team members to ensure quality control and completeness of work.

Follow all safety procedures and policies, ensuring work is done in a safe and secure manner.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, including trash and scrap removal and other production‑related tasks.

Perform routine equipment maintenance as needed.

General Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in steel fabrication.

Experience operating overhead cranes.

2G/3G welding certification preferred.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Applicant must pass a welding test and meet AWS qualification standards.
