We are seeking a

Maintenance Planner

to join our high-growth team at our manufacturing facility in

Aurora, Colorado . This role owns the

Maintenance Planning & Scheduling (MP&S) system , including planning, scheduling, and leading standard maintenance work practices across the plant.

As part of the

operations leadership team , you will support and implement

change management initiatives and productivity improvements . You will play a key role in driving

equipment reliability, maintainability, and availability , with a strong focus on reducing deterioration and overall plant losses while supporting the company’s compelling business needs.

This position also includes responsibility for maintaining and ensuring

food safety and quality standards

for Dessert Holdings.

Key Responsibilities

Own and lead

Maintenance Planning & Scheduling (MP&S) competency , ensuring alignment with

Dessert Holdings standards

Ensure proper use of the

CMMS system , including

master data standardization and accuracy

Review all approved incoming work orders to confirm

Safety, Materials, People, Tools, When, Where, Information (SIMPTWWI)

are included in job plans

Maintain assets in the CMMS from

cradle to grave , including:

Bills of Materials (BOMs)

Preventative Maintenance schedules (PMs)

Critical spare parts and safety stock levels

Ensure new equipment follows existing

master data and CMMS maintenance standards

Drive improvements by supporting plant reliability goals and participating in

Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings , focusing on top loss areas

Partner with the

Maintenance Manager

to establish

30/90-day action plans , ensuring key metrics meet company standards

Publish the

weekly plant maintenance work plan , including scheduled plant stops

Lead and support

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes

Support the

Preventative Maintenance (PM) program , working to reduce unscheduled downtime

Document all maintenance activity in the

CMMS system

Understand and support

Quality Systems , including:

SQF

HACCP

GMP practices

Food safety requirements

Maintain proper spare parts strategies aligned with maintenance and reliability goals

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor and reporting structure

Qualifications Required Experience & Knowledge

Experience with

Master Data and CMMS systems

Mechanical and electrical knowledge and understanding

Experience leading and owning

RCA processes

Ability to identify

component failure modes

and develop preventative countermeasures

Understanding of

Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

with the ability to coach teams on maintenance standard improvements

Proficiency in

MS Office and basic PC skills

Flexible schedule and willingness to work

overtime and weekends when necessary

FEMA/RCM development and implementation

Working knowledge of

ovens, bakery, and packaging equipment

Preferred

3+ years of industrial mechanical experience

or

a 2-year technical degree

Ability to read, write, and speak

English and Spanish

Certifications & Training Requirements

Must successfully complete HACCP Certification

Forklift license required or must complete certification within 90 days of hire

Ability to read, write, and speak English
