Wilson Trailer Company has a full-time opening for a Project Engineer in their Yankton, South Dakota location. The Project Engineer designs and coordinates all phases of the construction of fixtures, tools and machines for manufacturing at all plants. Requisitions all purchased and fabricated parts. Coordinates the activities of hourly personnel involved with the construction phase. If you have experience as an Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or Design Engineer, then you will be a good fit for this Project Engineer position.
Primary Responsibilities
Designs and coordinates all phases of the implementation of fabrication tooling and CNC fabrication equipment. Coordinates start up and provides programming and support.
Designs product improvements and features as assigned. Coordinates all phases of RIG testing.
Coordinates all phases of product improvement implementation.
Participates in the Lean Manufacturing transformation as needed.
