We are seeking a detail-oriented

Industrial Facilities Architecture Engineer

to lead the planning, layout optimization, and architectural integration of our new, high-precision manufacturing complex. This role is essential for ensuring that our production floors, cleanrooms, and support facilities are designed for maximum efficiency, safety, and scalability. This position is based initially in

Tempe and Peoria, AZ

during the construction and commissioning phase, with a long-term transition to our flagship Peoria operations center. You will act as the architectural bridge between initial site design and full-scale factory operations. Key Responsibilities

Design Coordination & Integration Multidisciplinary Alignment:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to integrate architectural designs with complex MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), utility, and process systems. Layout Optimization:

Design and refine the spatial planning for high-tech manufacturing areas, cleanroom environments, and administrative support zones. Drawing Validation:

Review and authorize architectural blueprints, material specifications, and technical drawings to ensure they meet operational demands. Compliance & Governance Code Stewardship:

Ensure all designs and modifications adhere to the International Building Code (IBC), International Fire Code (IFC), and local safety regulations. Permitting Support:

Facilitate the approval process for building construction and occupancy permits by providing technical documentation and architectural expertise. Sustainability:

Incorporate energy-efficient materials and sustainable design principles to meet corporate environmental goals. Construction Oversight Site Inspections:

Manage the architectural integrity of the build-out through regular site walkthroughs and quality control checks. Revision Management:

Maintain precise documentation of all architectural plans, as-builts, and revisions throughout the project lifecycle. Innovation:

Evaluate emerging technologies and industrial materials that offer improved functionality and cost-effectiveness. Required Qualifications

Educational & Professional Foundation: Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related structural engineering field. Experience:

3+ years of architectural coordination experience, specifically within industrial, pharmaceutical, or advanced high-tech production facilities. Code Mastery:

Strong working knowledge of IBC and IFC codes, fire safety standards, and controlled-environment (Cleanroom) design. Software Toolkit:

Mastery of

AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam , and MS Office. Physical & Operational Readiness: Project Lifecycle:

Experience with the "ground-up" process, including design, construction, and system startup. Professional Credentials:

A Professional Engineering (PE) license or registered Architect status is a significant plus. Medical Fitness:

Must be medically qualified to wear a respirator and work in proximity to industrial equipment. Site Adaptability:

Ability to climb ladders, work at elevations, and navigate active construction sites in various weather conditions. Location & Mobility: Ability to work onsite at
