Description DRCG is seeking a highly motivated, Senior Network Engineer, to support a federal customer's goals to modernize and transform their IT environment to efficiently deliver new technologies to their workforce.
Job Location Merrifield, VA (3-days onsite)
Responsibilities
Provide high level support for Cisco ACI, Cisco NDO, Cisco APIC, Cisco UCS, virtualization (VMWare), and UCS Director
Provide classified and unclassified Tier 3 senior level support for the design, implementation, and deployment of network specific technologies across the DEA Enterprise environment consisting of hundreds of locations worldwide.
Provides engineering and operational support for cloud providers to include AWS and Azure, on-premise datacenters, campus networks, Dynamic Multipoint VPNs (DMVPN), Layer 2/3, wireless networks, and network applications installed on client workstations
Optimization of various LAN/WAN environments
Datacenter load balancing
Network access security to include 802.1x and Cisco ISE
Requirements
Active/current Secret Clearance is required at the time of hire.
7+ years of relevant experience
CCIE Certification or equivalent
Bachelors degree in a related field or relevant work experience
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
