Job Title: Senior Software QA Engineer (Remote)
Remote – Poland / US overlap hours
Hourly Rate Range (B2B): 130 – 170 PLN/h
About the Role We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with a strong background in test automation for web-based and backend systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, agile environments and is passionate about quality, CI/CD, and delivering high-performing products.
As part of our distributed QA team, you’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to ensure the stability, scalability, and reliability of mission-critical applications in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI and API testing
Work with developers to identify test cases and integrate tests into CI pipelines
Execute functional, regression, and performance tests
Analyze test results, track bugs, and ensure resolution before deployment
Participate in code reviews, grooming sessions, and sprint planning
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in QA Automation
Proficiency with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG
Experience with REST API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare or enterprise-level platforms
Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
ISTQB or similar certifications
Client Industry: Healthcare Technology (HIPAA-compliant systems)
Team: Global, agile-based team of engineers and testers
Timezone Flexibility: Must overlap at least 4 hours with US Eastern Time
