We are seeking an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer to drive process optimization, efficiency improvements, and product quality enhancements within our production manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in supporting SQDC improvement initiatives, Lean Manufacturing principles, and strategic process advancements to ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands‑on manufacturing environment, collaborates effectively across teams, and applies data‑driven problem‑solving to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
Assist in the selection, installation, and validation of new manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
Apply root cause analysis and corrective action strategies to resolve production issues.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all manufacturing processes.
Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Validate processes through experimentation, simulation, and mockups.
Collect and analyze production data to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvements.
Support the manufacturing launch of new or revised products, including documentation, training, and tooling/equipment acquisition.
Assist with machinery layout and equipment design to improve production efficiency.
Conduct time studies and document findings to support process enhancements.
Participate in safety, quality, and process improvement projects aligned with company objectives.
Engage in Kaizen events and process improvement initiatives focused on manufacturing efficiency, safety, and waste reduction.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to support overall operational goals.
Create and present visualizations and process data for real‑time shop floor insights.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).
5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, flow, layout, and production equipment.
Hands‑on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred).
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), manufacturing software, and data analysis tools.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on approach to process improvement.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive projects and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
