· Prepare and present educational materials to clients in an approved format.

· Provide a safe, supportive, and culturally sensitive environment for learning and discussion.

· Evaluate and communicate client participation in groups to Clinical Team members.

· Document client attendance and participation levels, summarizing each facilitated group.

· Observe and maintain standards in accordance with agency policy and procedure.

· Document services in a timely manner using the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.

· Report any situations that may indicate an immediate threat to clients or staff to the supervisor instantly.

· Ensure regular and consistent attendance for all scheduled duties.

· Perform other duties as assigned.**Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:**

· Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field;

**OR**

· High School or General Equivalency Diploma and two (2) years responsible employment history.

Employees may be required to apply for Missouri Associate Alcohol Drug Counselor (MAADC) credential.**Additional Qualifications:**

· Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint checks.

· Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.

· Employees are required to maintain certifications and/or licenses possessed when hired and those gained while employed. A Class E Driver’s License may be required. Current certification in CPR/First Aid may be required.**Physical Requirements:**

· Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.

· Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and writing.
