We are seeking an

Electrical Designer

YOUR ROLE AT CNG As an

Electrical Designer , you will support the electrical engineering team in developing power and lighting systems from concept through construction. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and project teams, contribute to coordinated designs, and help ensure projects are delivered with accuracy, efficiency, and excellence.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Support Thoughtful Design:

Assist in the design of branch circuit distribution systems for power and lighting in commercial and institutional facilities.

Support the design of overall site and building power distribution systems.

Perform electrical calculations to support system designs and engineering decisions.

Collaborate as a Team:

Participate in internal and external design coordination meetings.

Work closely with engineers, designers, and project teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality designs.

Deliver with Excellence:

Assist with construction administration tasks, including reviewing submittals and shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and attending CA meetings.

Participate in site visits and field observations to evaluate installations and support design intent.

Plan, schedule, and coordinate assigned project tasks while maintaining quality standards.

Take ownership of assigned tasks and continuously develop technical and professional skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Team-oriented, hands‑on, adaptable, and client‑focused

Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines with a sense of urgency

Proficient interpersonal skills and experience supporting positive client relationships

TECHNOLOGY & SOFTWARE

Advanced knowledge of

Revit

and

AutoCAD

Proficiency in

Bluebeam

Proficiency in

Microsoft 365 , including Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

EXPERIENCE

Recent experience in electrical engineering design with an architectural or MEP firm

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record

Ability to pass a background check and drug test
