Must possess a Secret Clearance Position Overview
Coordinate all logistics for Assistant Secretary of the Navy awards ceremonies including working with guest speakers, ensuring that awards and citations are prepared accurately, and managing the event timeline so everything runs smoothly. Candidates must have strong attention to detail, experience with event planning or military protocols, and the ability to communicate effectively with both military personnel and civilian vendors. Candidates must possess superb organizational and administrative skills and know the ceremonial ropes, and can make the event feel polished and respectful. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 5 years relevant with an emphasis on participating in awards ceremony planning and execution. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and DoD/DON tasker systems (e.g., ETMS2). Experience working in an Echelon 1 organization and working with SES/FO/GO is highly recommended.
