The Senior Compliance Analyst role offers broad exposure to operations and provides the opportunity to contribute value-added solutions in order to minimize overall risk to the Company. The Senior Compliance Analyst will develop needed policies, processes and material for the Company Compliance Program, in addition it will execute detailed risk assessment plans that identify potential areas of financial, strategic, operational, and compliance risks to the Company by assessing the adequacy of Policies implementation and development, determining compliance with government regulations and internal policies and procedures, evaluating efficiency and effectiveness of operations, identifying improvement opportunities and setting implementation targets. This position reports to the Compliance Manager.
Maintain records for company incorporation, Board of Director meetings, resolutions, contracts amendments and all files related to governance of the company and operation
Support the creation of policies, processes, RASICs and other related compliance activities/documentation
Perform and execute a "Risk Assessment", process (involves risk discussions with Level 1 executives) completing audits
Support the Manager in developing the compliance scope and approach to address the most significant risks inherent in the organization and/or process
Determining compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures (as well as assessing the adequacy of existing procedures)
Document and communicate audit issues to Compliance Manager
Work closely with Management in the development and implementation of corrective actions for issues identified in relation to Compliance Program
Identify causes or contributing factors relating to process variances through application of process mapping and root-cause analysis techniques as it pertains to Compliance Program and Federal Loans, and other special projects
Identify and recommend methods to strengthen Compliance and policy alignment and , improve operations and, in conjunction with operating personnel, determining the best approach
Perform other position related duties as assigned
Basic:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Proven experience developing, implementing, leading Committees and setting and tracking Compliance related KPIs
While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
Minimum of 9 years’ professional experience
Ability to plan, develop, implement and measure results
Strong understanding of Compliance frameworks and related regulations, internal controls and auditing
Strong analytical skills and ability to apply auditing concepts in various functional areas and environments
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to develop strong relationships and lead projects from inception to completion
Preferred:
Advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CIA, CFSA, etc.)
Experience with a manufacturing company’s financial and operating processes and procedures preferred
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Working Conditions:
Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time
Ability to operate basic office equipment
