Overview We are seeking an experienced Linux/Systems Administrator to join our team and take responsibility for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our Linux-based and Windows-based systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Linux system administration, including configuring and installing hardware and software, utilizing monitoring technologies, and ensuring the operational health of our infrastructure. Position must be onsite in Colorado Springs.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain Linux/Windows operating systems, configuring and installing hardware/software utilizing monitoring technologies, troubleshooting, and sustaining the operational health of the infrastructure

Operate in a team environment, provide input to design solutions, and participate in design reviews

Work closely with the team to understand business requirements and write comprehensive tests to ensure quality of the system

Analyze requirements to determine the feasibility of the design for time and cost constraints

Develop and implement new approaches to extremely complex issues, and integrate new capabilities with existing systems

Build and manage Yum/Spacewalk/RedHat satellite servers and repositories.

Create and manage Kickstart/Satellite builds

Provide technical support to marketing, manufacturing, quality, and supply management organizations

Identify areas requiring improvement, and seek out and recommend new solutions

Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years of experience in Linux system administration.

OR (9) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.

OR No experience required in lieu of Master’s Degree.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.

Strong understanding of ACAS scans and STE/STN requirements.

Strong knowledge of LDAP, Central Authentication, and Centrify.

Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems.

Experience with NFS share builds and management.

Extensive experience with Cent OS 7/8 server builds and management.

Experience with Yum/Spacewalk/RedHat satellite server, repository builds, and management.

Experience with Kickstart/Satellite builds and management.

Additional Information

This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.

Pay Range:

$96,000 - $120,000 annually . Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
