Job Title: Java Developer
Location: Albany, NY (In-Person)
Duration: 30 Months
Pay Rate: $66/hr
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer for a long-term, in-person assignment in Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in developing SOA/Microservices-based applications, strong full-stack capabilities, and proven experience working in Agile environments.
Required Experience
J2EE / SOA / Microservices Development – Minimum 7 Years
Developing N‑Tier web applications using J2EE and industry‑standard patterns
Integrating application components into functional services exposed as REST/SOAP web services
Designing and implementing business logic per requirements
Database integration using JPA / Hibernate
Working within Agile development methodologies
Relational Database & ORM – Minimum 7 Years
Designing and developing complex relational database queries
Strong focus on ORM frameworks (Hibernate / JPA)
Angular Front-End Development – Minimum 3 Years
Building UI components and front‑end functionality using Angular
Spring Boot – Minimum 3 Years
Developing microservices and backend components using Spring Boot
Cloud Platforms – Minimum 2 Years
Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Source Control – Minimum 3 Years
Working with GitHub or GitLab repositories for code management
CI/CD Pipelines – Minimum 2 Years
Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline technologies and automation tools
Performance Testing – Minimum 2 Years
Using JMeter for performance and load testing
Compensation: $66.00 per hour
