Data Intelligence, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Systems Engineer (Windows) to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) IT Infrastructure Operations and Support Services. in Dahlgren, VA. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with hands‑on experience in designing and implementing secure IT systems within Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and support of complex IT infrastructure solutions for DoD programs.
Oversee daily operations and ensure performance, availability, and security of all IT systems.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
Collaborate with NSWCDD stakeholders to understand mission needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and VMWare infrastructure.
Support configuration and management of storage systems such as NetApp, EMC, and VAST.
Monitor and manage network protocols and systems including TCP/IP.
Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and IAT Level II requirements.
Required Experience
Minimum four (4) years of professional experience in operating systems design and implementation within DoD networked environments.
Strong background in:
Microsoft Windows Server
Microsoft Exchange
Active Directory
VMWare
Enterprise storage systems (NetApp, EMC, VAST)
TCP/IP networking
Required Certifications (IAT Level II) Candidate must possess at least one of the following:
CCNA-Security
CySA+ (formerly CSA+)
GICSP
GSEC
Security+ CE
CND
SSCP
Security Clearance
Top Secret (Active)
