Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer to support a United States Air Force (USAF) contract in Lorton, VA. This Sr. Cloud Engineer will work in an Azure environment to streamline cloud services to the USAF customer, including deploying and maintaining the mission infrastructure. This is an on-site position in a highly classified program.
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform the engineering role on behalf of the Customer, including deployment and maintenance of customer infrastructure and all application-related responsibilities on Mission Enclave environment.
System health monitoring include Azure Solution System Health, Program Application availability, and Capacity Management.
Operational System Management (trouble tickets) – input, re-route, field, and elevate as appropriate.
Conduct appropriate troubleshooting and remediation activities to include coordinating with System Owners, Product Team, and Migration Team for issues and coordinating with the appropriate team and/or personnel.
Complete regular maintenance on all systems / applications. This includes regular patching and vulnerability remediation and addressing end of service/end of life replacements.
Complete approved configuration updates/changes and elevate where required if high-level architectural updates are needed.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
Experience in Azure Cloud environments
CompTIA Security+ Certification
BS or equivalent experience + 8 yrs experience
Active TS/SCI Clearance or TS with SCI Eligibility
Compensation Includes
$160,000 - $185,000+ *depending on experience*
