Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

The person should be detail oriented and possess the ability to multitask as well as check their own work

Should be accountable for work product, and demonstrate ability to work with others

Must be proficient in basic Excel, Word, and Outlook

The candidate will play an integral role in reviewing and approving Development Pay Applications for projects

Must be proficient in the process of reviewing and rejecting a General Contractor AIA G 702 and AIA G 703 pay application

Must be familiar with lien waivers

Coordinate wire transfers with accounting after getting approval from the Senior Managing Director

Assist with quarterly internal reconciliation of development budgets

Verify developer deliverables are received with pay application and follow up with the developer

Vet monthly budget reallocations and identify concerns with development/paperwork to determine if the pay application is acceptable to process

File expense reports and prepare meeting minutes and agendas with the direction of the Senior Managing Director

Create invoices and tracking payments to vendors, arrange meetings, manage phone calls

Save, file, and share project documents internally as well as with 3rd parties through Dropbox if necessary

Collect and process 3rd party invoices for payment at closing and in development draws

Review received invoices and code/order for review

Track received invoices on a spreadsheet

Obtain approval and send to accounting for payment

Follow up on open/unpaid invoices and update tracking

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master of Accountancy preferred

Experience: 4-7 years of experience preferred
