Design-Build / Alternative Delivery
pursuits?
As an
Alternative Delivery Project Engineer , you will become part of a dedicated team that provides technical and production support in the development of
Alternative Technical Concepts (ATCs) , geometric design, and plans production for major
Alternative Delivery (Design-Build)
projects and pursuits.
This role can be based in
Tampa, Orlando, Boca Raton or Jacksonville, FL
with flexibility to work in the office or with a hybrid work schedule.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include
Perform engineering designs including geometric alignments, profiles, cross-sections, construction, and Temporary Traffic Control details.
Creation of engineering documents including
Typical Section Packages, Pavement Design Reports , and
Variation/Exception Reports .
Perform advanced
MicroStation / GEOPAK / OpenRoads
processes using 3D modeling.
Coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications amongst multi-discipline engineering teams.
What you'll need
B.S. from an ABET-accredited university in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of transportation roadway design experience
Registration as a
Professional Engineer in Florida
or the ability to obtain one within 6 months
Proficiency in
MicroStation
and/or
OpenRoads
Strong knowledge of
FDOT
plans preparation criteria,
FDM and Standard Plans
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
Detail-oriented team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work environment
Valid driver’s license with approved/acceptable driving history required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on limited-access projects
Experience working on
alternative delivery / design-build projects
Experience with
3D corridor modeling
