Brief Role Description Role Summary: The successful candidate will help assume responsibility for the most visible, customer‑valued and enduring contributions from Electrify America’s charging investment over ten years and a budget of approximately $200M per year. The candidate will oversee local implementation of interconnection electric vehicle charging infrastructure projects in metro areas and along national highway routes, managing vendors and contractors, securing property, preparing, constructing and commissioning charging sites at a range of commercial, retail, municipal and mixed‑use properties. Responsibilities include local vendor and contractor management, coordination with stakeholders, ensuring successful project completion and adherence to milestones.
Possible Tasks within this Role Role Responsibilities:
Leads all planning, coordination and project management of Electrify America EV infrastructure deployment efforts in assigned geographic area (~20%).
Provides local‑level oversight and management of vendors, services providers and contractors across assigned area, ensuring adherence to program milestones, budgets, construction guidelines and quality/safety standards (~15%).
Travels frequently to project locations to support site identification and acquisition activities, coordinate design and installation plans with property ownership and management, oversee vendor progress, meet and update local stakeholder groups and document evidence of project progress and quality control (~10%).
Assesses and tracks program performance via managing and updating tools, software and processes to ensure effective project management at all stages (~5%).
Develops and prepares monthly work schedules for each project and associated partners, vendors and stakeholders. Provides regular and transparent updates to Metro and Highway Network program managers with status reports and progress of individual projects to anticipate potential bottlenecks or delays (~5%).
Aligns closely with Partnership Development and Real Estate teams to assist in coordination of city and state‑level stakeholders such as workplaces, property owners, mobility programs, utilities, planning departments, and local policymakers (~5%).
Maintains accurate forecasts of all equipment delivery needs including individual project specifications to assist with equipment inventory and supply controls (~5%).
Assumes responsibility for all project close‑out documentation from vendors and suppliers, review and track all QAQC requirements prior to vendor payment approval. Works closely with EA controllers to ensure alignment with auditing and accounting policies. Benchmarks project costs across vendors and regions to identify cost efficiency opportunities (~5%).
Represents Electrify America at local events, conferences and other stakeholder forums under guidance of Partnership Development team.

Certification of competency in Primavera, Microsoft Project, or similar software - desired
