About us Bowdon Animal Hospital offers state‑of‑the‑art medical care to all the animals of their community. The 11,000‑sq‑foot facility provides integrative services to small, large, exotic, zoo, and wildlife animals. The team, led by Dr. McCord, is constantly striving to find new ways to help the community. The new Medical Director will lead a collaborative team of four passionate DVMs.

Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid veterinary license in the state of Georgia.
Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Compassionate approach toward animals and their owners.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat medical conditions in animals.
Perform surgeries on animals.
Administer vaccinations.
Prescribe medications.
Conduct routine check‑ups and health assessments.
Educate pet owners on proper care and preventive measures.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
Collaborate with a team of veterinary professionals to deliver high‑quality care.
