Seasonal CT Technologist II – CT Days (250004WI)
InterHealth Staffing, a for‑profit staffing division of Tampa General Hospital (TGH), offers 13‑week seasonal assignments with competitive base pay and the prospect of contract extensions. Seasonal applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the division they are hired into and be competent to work independently.
Job Overview The CT Technologist II provides outstanding customer service to patients, providers and clinical teams, operating imaging equipment to acquire quality diagnostic images as ordered by the physician.
Presents a professional, welcoming, supportive, and calm demeanor during all patient interactions.
Maintains operational knowledge of CT & X‑ray equipment and imaging protocols, positions patients, operates equipment, and manipulates technical factors to achieve high‑quality images.
Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring completion of imaging exams.
Completes all required documentation for imaging performed.
Applies radiation‑safety principles to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others.
Assesses diagnostic images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification ensuring all relevant anatomy is demonstrated.
Demonstrates proficiency in contrast‑medication administration with and without power injectors.
Maintains work area in a constant state of readiness.
Follows all facility policies, procedures, and protocols.
Performs other tasks as directed related to diagnostic imaging.
Qualifications
Education : Technical training / certificate or A.S. in Radiologic Technology or related field.
Experience : Current or recent diagnostic imaging experience; ARRT CT Registry required within first 12 months of hire.
Licensure / Certificates :
Current State of Florida licensure for General Radiography
Current registration with ARRT for Radiography

Schedule:
Full‑time, Monday through Friday.
Work type:
On‑site (no remote).
