Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit night shift position in Ohio, requiring an OH or compact RN license and EPIC charting experience.
Responsibilities
Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital specializing in neurological and spine care
Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00–07:30
Rotating coverage of weeknights, weekends, and holidays required
Estimated patient ratios are 1:3-4
Floating to other units within the organization may be required
Uses EPIC electronic medical record system
May be required to float to other units within the organization as staffing needs dictate
Rotating holiday coverage is expected according to unit policy
Professional work attire or scrubs required as per hospital dress code
Requirements
Active OH or compact RN license required
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
Minimum 2 years of PCU or med-surg nursing experience required
EPIC EMR experience required
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
