Physician Assistant (Lotus Behavioral Health) 1099 $50-$60 BOA

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team at Lotus Behavioral Health. The ideal candidate should be skilled in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history review, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests for patients entering residential facility.

Formulate accurate diagnoses and develop appropriate treatment plan.

Prescribe medications and provide patient education regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and other relevant information.

Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Provide patient counseling and support, addressing concerns and answering questions regarding their medical condition and treatment options.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, psychiatry NPs and behavioral therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, assessments, and treatment plans.

Stay informed about current medical practices, guidelines, and advancements through continuous education and professional development activities.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Current certification as a Physician Assistant.

State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant.

Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently within the scope of practice.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.

Detail-oriented with proficient organizational and time management abilities.

Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
