Summary Reports to the Assistant Director of Pharmacy for the assigned area. Is responsible for working collaboratively with the health care team to promote wellness, maintain current health, or intervene in acute or chronic illness. Promotes the safe and effective use of medications by consulting with other health care professionals concerning problems and instructs patients and families on their medications.
Education Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in Pharm D. or BS degree. Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience is desired.
Experience Minimum of one year of hospital experience with responsibility for the supervision of pharmacy personnel is desired.
Licensure/Certification
Current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland required.
Intravenous (IV) Certification (includes aseptic technique and hazardous substance handling) within 90 days upon hire.
Flat Rate $70.50 /hour Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
