We are seeking a
Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician
to join a hospital-based Emergency Department in
Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina . This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality emergency care in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.
The Emergency Medicine Physician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries while working closely with nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and hospital services.
Responsibilities
Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and emergent medical conditions
Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critical patients
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Requirements
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
