Addison Group is partnering with a growing organization to identify a Staff Accountant to support core accounting functions. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering hands‑on exposure to general ledger activities, reconciliations, and month‑end close processes. Job Description

The Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting timely reporting. This position works closely with accounting leadership and cross‑functional teams to ensure financial integrity and compliance. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger based on financial analysis Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances Identify and resolve discrepancies in coordination with internal stakeholders Complete bank reconciliations for assigned entities Process intercompany transactions and ensure account balances align Prepare progress billing estimates as assigned Support month‑end close activities, including schedules and journal entries Compile and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reports Assist with internal reviews and annual external audit requests Provide support with sales and use tax filings Contribute to special projects and provide additional support during peak periods as needed Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Previous experience in general ledger accounting or staff accounting role Strong reconciliation and analytical skills Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment Strong attention to detail and communication skills Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
