Job Overview
District Medical Group, Inc. (DMG) is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to work in the Valleywise Health Arizona Burn Center in Phoenix. This full‑time, weekday position offers benefits and a competitive compensation package.
Responsibilities
Participate in daily rounds as part of the multidisciplinary burn care team.
Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical assessments and therapy.
Assess and treat individuals of all ages, including post‑traumatic and pain conditions.
Contribute to clinical research (beneficial but not required).
Educate medical students, nursing students, PA/NP students, surgical and ED residents, EMTs, military medics, and firefighters encountered on the burn unit.
Qualifications
Doctoral degree in clinical psychology.
Expertise in health psychology.
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Arizona.
Experience in providing psychological care in a medical setting preferred.
Excellent communication skills; ability to work as a team member.
Willingness to participate in education of a variety of learners.
