Position Type Full Time
Location San Antonio, and surrounding areas, travel is required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
CPA designation or eligibility to sit for the CPA exams
Recent public accounting experience required (Prefer Audit or Accounting Services Experience)
3+ years total experience in a related field, preferred
Experience with financial reporting including extensive familiarity with U.S. GAAP
Knowledge of accounting and operational matters for a variety of industries
General knowledge of U.S. income tax, margin tax, and sales tax concepts
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Delegates work to other team members
Excellent interpersonal communication and problem solving-skills
Capability to prioritize and organize workload with strong attention to detail
Experience with general ledger software, preferred
Experience with MS Office, Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Experience in designing and implementing robotic process automations (RPA), preferred
Travel within San Antonio and surrounding areas, required
Responsibilities
Develop an understanding of our current client base and identify opportunities for additional services
Retain existing clients by demonstrating a client focus and sense of urgency to address client needs
Ability to efficiently onboard clients
Execute engagements efficiently with strong attention to detail and focus on quality
Build relationships with clients to become a trusted member of their team
Assist with training other team members
Other duties as needed and assigned
This role will be off-site regularly for face-to-face client meetings
