Santa FE Mazda is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to join our team in Santa Fe, NM. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive controller duties, with hands-on experience in Dealertrack systems. This role is pivotal in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting departmental efficiencies.

Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting

Utilize Dealertrack software to manage dealership financial processes and reporting

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and dealership policies

Coordinate with external auditors and handle tax filings

Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement

Collaborate with dealership management to develop budgets and forecasts

Requirements

Proven experience as an automotive controller or in a similar financial management role

Proficiency with Dealertrack and other dealership management software

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations

Excellent organizational and analytical skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Benefits

Competitive salary ranging from $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year, paid weekly
