The
Staff Pharmacist
interprets prescriptions and compounds and dispenses medications ordered by physicians or other authorized prescribers. The Staff Pharmacist is a medication expert and provides information to both patients and health care providers, as well as other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager. The Staff Pharmacist works under moderate supervision with appropriate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. They report directly to the pharmacy manager. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, the Staff Pharmacist reports to the assistant pharmacy manager or the pharmacist in charge. In the event the pharmacy manager is not available, the Staff Pharmacist may act as the pharmacist in charge.

Minimum Qualifications
Licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Maryland
Certified by the Maryland Board of Pharmacy to provide vaccinations preferably upon hire and required within six (6) months of hire
Active CPR certification
At least two years retail/outpatient pharmacy experience preferred
Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in a Pharm.D. degree or B.S.
Residencey preferred
Salary Range:
Minimum $41.09/hour - Maximum $74.51/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
