Requirements
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Valid Arizona Dept of Education Speech-Language Pathologist License.
Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence. (CCC-SLP)
Responsibilities
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students through screenings and comprehensive evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals to address each student's unique communication needs.
Provide direct therapy to students with speech or language disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language intervention.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social participation in the school environment.
Maintain thorough documentation, track student progress, and contribute to IEP meetings and other multidisciplinary team activities.
